When you’re cooking meatless meals, it is so important to make sure you’re using good, quality meat replacements, in order to get enough protein and iron. Variety is very important, ideally, you want a colourful dish made up of mostly whole foods. Tofu is a delicious, high protein meat alternative that’s very popular in Chinese cooking and of course, perfectly suited to our sauces! Or you can try the meat alternative options that can look and taste just like the real thing! A couple of our favourite, nutritious vegan options are black beans, chickpeas and quinoa. Quinoa has a staggering 16.5g of protein per 100g, and it’s delicious and filling. You could make up a bowl of quinoa, drizzle a combination of Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil and Gluten Free Soy Sauce to add all the flavour you need, and you have yourself a healthy meat-less snack. OR, you could really go to town and put together our decadent Kale and Quinoa Salad with Lime Vinaigrette! It only takes 15 minutes to prepare and is so easy!
