How to make it
In a small mixing bowl, combine Lee Kum Kee Panda Brand Oyster Sauce with honey, Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce(or Lee Kum Kee Gluten Free Soy Sauce), water, one tablespoon of sesame seeds, garlic, oil and Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil. Stir thoroughly to combine and set aside. Reserve the remaining tablespoon of sesame seeds for garnish.
Using a sharp knife, make a lengthways slash on both sides of each drumstick along the bone. Place the drumsticks into a large mixing bowl or tray. Stir the marinade well and then pour two-thirds of it over the drumsticks. Rub the marinade into the chicken to evenly coat.*
*The drumsticks can be marinated the day before and kept in the fridge.
In a separate bowl, combine the bok choy and remaining one-third of the marinade. Mix with clean hands or tongs. Set aside.
Then arrange the drumsticks on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake on the middle rack in the oven at 180C for 25 minutes. Then turn the drumsticks over, nestle the marinated bok choy in between and bake for a further 20 minutes.
Serve the chicken with steamed rice, bok choy and garnish with the remaining toasted sesame seeds.
