Mongolian Lamb Burgers

How to make it

  1. Combine the lamb with salt and pepper and mix to combine. Form into 4 patties and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Place 1 tbsp of olive oil into a frying pan over a moderate heat and add the sliced onion. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until nicely coloured and crispy, stirring every now and then. Set aside and clean the frying pan.
  3. Place the remaining oil into the frying pan over a moderate heat and cook the lamb patties for 2 ½ minutes. Turnover and pour the Lee Kum Kee Ready Sauce for Mongolian Lamb over the patties and cook for a further 2 ½ minutes  until the patties are cooked and the sauce is warmed through.
  4. Build your burgers by placing the pattie on the bun and then layer with the lettuce, tomato, onion, and coriander. Spoon over some sauce in the pan if desired. Finish with the top of the buns and serve with some chips or salad on the side.
