How to make it
Combine the sliced beef, garlic, black peppercorns and white pepper in a small bowl and allow to marinate for 15 mins.
Add 1½ tsp oil, heat wok over a medium–high heat and stir-fry the beef for 2 - 3 mins until browned. Remove and set aside.
Heat 1 tsp oil. Add carrots and asparagus to the wok and stir-fry for 1-2 mins. Then, stir in the oyster sauce. Return the beef to the wok and toss through.
Serve hot, garnished with spring onion curls.
