Wontons in Ginger Broth

How to make it

  1. Add pork mince to a mixing bowl with sugar and salt, mix thoroughly. Add chives, Lee Kum Kee Pure Sesame Oil, oil, and Panda Brand Oyster Sauce, mix again until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Take one wonton wrapper in the palm of your hand, place 1 to 1 ½ teaspoon pork mixture in the centre of the wonton wrapper. Fold up the edges of the wrapper around the filling, pushing the sides together into the middle to enclose the dumpling. Repeat until the mix is finished.
  3. Bring a medium saucepan of water to the boil, place the wontons in batches into the boiling water and cook until they rise to the surface and the filling is cooked through. Drain the wontons and set aside.
  4. Place the chicken stock, ginger and garlic in a large saucepan and bring to the boil over high heat. Reduce to medium and add spring onions then cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes.
  5. Add the wontons and cook for a further 3 minutes or until the wontons are heated through. Garnish with sliced spring onion.
