How to make it

  1. In a bowl mix burger pattie ingredients. Use your hands to form the mixture into 4 round burger patties. Set aside.
  2. Toss the slaw ingredients together in a bowl. Season to taste, adding more honey or vinegar to your liking, then set aside.
  3. Preheat the barbecue to medium heat. Heat 1 tbsp oil on the grill then add the patties, cooking for 3-5 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. Charr grill the pineapple slices, cooking for 1 minute on each side. 
  4. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large non-stick pan on an element (or barbecue element). Crack the eggs in and fry for 3-5 minutes, until crispy. Remove from the pan with a spatula and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Slather the cut side of burger buns with mayonnaise then quickly grill them on the bbq until hot. Load each bun with slaw, a burger pattie, a pineapple ring and a crispy fried egg. Tuck in while hot!
