Golden Rice Stuffed Chicken

Chicken 1 pc [about 1.5kg]
Celery 1 stick [sliced]
Onion(s) 1 pc [small, sliced]
Brown rice 1 Cup [cooked]


Cantonese Barbecue Marinade 250 ml
Cantonese Barbecue Marinade 1 tbsp
Panda Brand Oyster Sauce 1 tsp
Pure Sesame Oil 1 tsp

  1. Stir-fry celery and onion in 1 tbsp oil until tender.  Add brown rice and seasoning mix.  Stir well until heated through.
  2. Stuff chicken cavity with rice mixture and use a skewer to secure skin over rice filling.
  3. Marinate the chicken for 1 hour, turning occassionally.
  4. Bake chicken at 180C/350F hot oven for about 1 hour or until done.  Baste with remaining marinade during cooking.

    Marinating Time : 1 hour.
